Jean-Martin Chevalier
Specialized in patents law, trademarks and Industrial Designs law.

Lawyer registered at the Paris Bar since 1998, Jean-Martin Chevalier has been an associate lawyer of Pierre Cousin from the beginning of his career.

Before his admission to the Bar of Paris, he had been working in Bonn (Germany) as parliamentary assistant. He became a partner of COUSIN & ASSOCIES in 2008.

Totally bilingual French/German, he holds an advanced post graduate diploma (DESS) in Industrial Property law (University of Paris II – Panthéon Sorbonne).

He has been noticed by magazines such as Décideurs Option Droit & Affaires and LEGAL 500 as a practitioner in the field of patents as well as plant variety law.

He is member of the following associations:

• AJFA - Association des juristes franco-allemands
• APEB - Association des Praticiens Européens des Brevets
• AIPPI - Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Industrielle.

He contributed with Pierre Cousin on writing the French book (Jurisclasseur) about the application of the Munich treaty in French law.
